Microtech Infinity™ Manufacturing is a solution for effective planning of all the resources of a manufacturing company. It addresses operational planning in units, financial planning in dollars and has a simulation capability to answer 'what-if' questions. It is made up of a variety of functions each linked together: Business Planning, Production Planning, Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning, Capacity Requirements Planning and the execution system for capacity and priority. Outputs from these systems would be integrated with financial reports, such as the business plan, the purchase commitment report, shipping, budget, inventory production, etc.
 
The system addresses both engineering and processing concerns. Costing sections integrate all costing elements to provide a comprehensive and powerful tool to determine selling prices, profit margins, and control costs. Microtech Infinity ? Microtech Infinity™ ERP manufacturing caters for different markets (domestic and/or industrial), different order types (telesales, schedules, repeat, one-off), different delivery types (direct, phased, one-time, back-order), and different manufacturing organizations (make-to-stock, make-to-order, assemble-to-order, and assemble-to-stock). It was designed and built to aid the planning of: marketing, production, business, materials, and resource (labor, machines, tools, etc.).
 
Microtech Infinity™ ERP is structured to maintain product configurations accurately and efficiently, the system's complete Bill of Material (BOM) and process routing capabilities ensures it. The system also aids in safeguarding your product and process integrity t hrough formal configuration management and engineering change controls. It maintains a common database for product structures and process routers, process flow, manufacturing operation sequence, work center definitions, material and labor requirements, process standards and work instructions. All modules seamlessly integrated in one comprehensive, elegant solution. Product structures would be used beyond manufacturing. Purchasing, assembly and disassembly repair and rework and maintenance functions with virtually unlimited BOM levels. You can also use it to support multiple operations at any work center ­ and automatically reserve the work center for the anticipated run time of all operations.
 

Microtech Infinity™ ERP Manufacturing Solution modules are the sales order processing, purchase order processing, stock control, production control, shop documents, works order processing, bill of materials, routings, work centers, master production schedule, material requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, estimating, forecasting, and shop floor. Other modules, such as the General Ledger, the Fixed Assets Management, the Human Resources, and the Payroll are also available to link and integrate with the manufacturing solution modules.

 

For strategic, high-level and general production planning and scheduling at the product, group or family level, Finesse Master Scheduling lets you rest easy. With the Master Scheduling complete planning and management system, you can review and monitor forecasted demand, anticipated production, parts and service requirements with ease. Powerful "available-to-promise" logic helps you effectively plan, schedule and manage your resources for projected demand, quotes and estimates.

 
Microtech Infinity™ ERP tightens your grip on your shop floor, from raw material through end item assembly, it captures detailed actual data down to the unit level by serial number, size run, and other attributes, providing you with comprehensive "as built" product data. By using production scheduling, you can create finely tuned schedules for each production work center and manage availability and capacity with an online calendar. Release an order to the production floor and the system helps you monitor and control workflow.
 
Using the shop floor module, online information (including operation work instructions, scheduled work centers, labor grades and materials) gives you a complete, accurate picture and ensures that workers execute each required process properly. In addition, the system’s deep integration automatically updates your payroll modules with the data collected in Shop Floor. And for accurate resource allocation, the system tracks expected start and completion for every operation in the routing. This is effective management right down to the last detail.

It's a delicate balancing act that requires capacity awareness and planning. Designed to evaluate the impact of MRP orders against available production capacity, Microtech Infinity™ ERP Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP) helps you identify over and under capacity conditions before problems have a chance to occur. The system continuously compares planned, firm and released orders with your production capacity. With that information, it then tracks your production load by order status and schedules it in flexible work centers. The system provides a graphical work center load view. You can see your load across the entire shop or plant and reschedule it with drag-and-drop ease.
 
If you don't know what you have, you don't know what you need. Microtech Infinity™ ERP MRP module plans and manages material and production using the requirements you define. The MRP module accepts independent demands created directly t hrough the Contracts, Sales, Job, or Master Scheduling modules. The system makes plans changes easy. The system’s dynamic, level-by-level planning allows you to adjust your material plan as conditions develop ­ in real time. The system works seamlessly across plant-site boundaries to accommodate multiple plants and aggregate inventory, fast. With exception reporting that includes online planning action reports, rescheduling recommendations and capacity constraints are instantly accessible, so you can react as changes occur.
